screwed my foot up

this week has kinda sucked because i screwed my foot and ankle up real bad. i went canoeing on sunday through some pretty rough stuff on a river. the current caught us pretty hard to the shore and there was a log stickin out over the water. i ducked but my gf that was in front of me just leaned to the side and caused it to tip over. i didnt want to lose anything since it was a rented canoe to i grabbed on the the upside down canoe with one hand and the oar in the other and it took me with the current.

then my foot jammed under a bigass rock under the water. luckily the force of the canoe pulled me loose from the rock or i probably wouldve been stuck there for a little bit. i got away with a bunch of bumps and bruises on my knees and shins from hittin rocks, a broken toe, and a very badly sprained ankle.

luckily i work at a place that makes badass titanium wheelchairs so ive been able to stay off my feet all the time. they let me take it home with me so it really helps out. but it sucks driving my car because my clutch is really stiff but i got a lot of painkillers.

i dont really have much of an arch on the bottom of my foot now.
