Be Safe-Remember the Troops

Amen brother. My daughter asked me last night what Memorial day meant. So I explained to her that it was a day to celebrate and remember those who have fought and died for our freedoms and ability to even have different beliefs. And explained to her how lucky we are to live in the US and how proud she should be of our troops. That they are the reason we have the right to be proud, not the president. I then went into a spill about how dictatorship nations were and how we need to be thankful that we live in a democracy regardless of how messed up the leaders are.

So to any service men/ women on here or any family/friends of service men women...my hats off to you and please stay safe.

even though our economy is so f'd right now and other things about our government sucks. it is still great to live in a free(even though bush is tryin to end that) nation compared to other places around the globe. my hats off to everyone that fought and are still fighting to keep it that way. i have so many friends that are in iraq right now since i graduated only 3 years ago. im gonna definitely drink some beers for them
