Still debating if this is legit...

Fairly extensive debate. You can clearly see my opinion.

Has anyone here tried this...seems pretty simple to replicate.

Seems kinda stupid to me. I think most older engines would have trouble using the hydrogen cell technology, after all, if you put seafoam in your vacuum lines and submerge the "drinking" line in the seafoam, your engine will hydrolock.

Wow! I was having a hard time reading on there... Too rednecked for me, haha!

My question is not whether or not it is a hoax, but it this guy was just trying gte your money from the books that you need cause it is so VITAL...

SStone, lol, I'm going to assume some things and say:

Just because its an old engine doe'snt mean something that is "new" won't work on it. I'm also pretty sure that the water vapor generated by it is very small once diluted in with the intake...

Now, with me, it would be simple. I could hook up a vac line to a port on my carb and it would suck it in right at the venture giving me tons of vacuum. As well right at a manifold port under the carb.

I was thinking about going bigger on it and using like 4ga. wires for the electrodes! HAHA! Then connect them to some big stainless steel wires... lol.

This stuff makes sense, but its a question of whether or not it makes enough brown gas to make a difference... And the hydrowerx site is such a freakin' rip off. Makes you wonder how people can be so stupid to think its sooo advanced...

Hey husker dually, can you get me the parts for this? I don't want to buy the book and then have to buy the parts!

The problem is it is scientific fact that it takes more energy to produce the gas then the gas contains.

My son did a science fair project on making the gas(it is called brown gas). We hooked up our little contraption to my wifes van and it was like trying to jump a dead battery it pulled such a load on it.

And the load is in direct correlation to the amount of gas. The more gas the more current load. So what little the gas may contribute you lose in alternator drag.

HeX0rz - I honestly don't know much about this whole h20 stuff but while it's interesting it's also quite discerning. I was just saying that I'd like to see this stuff work in person. I'd like to see how this it worked in a way so that it didn't hydrolock the engine for some reason. I'm not making much sense here I know.

I dunno how hydrolock works so I would'nt even begin to be able to understand, lol...

I was thinking that if it came down to it, maybe even add a 2nd. alt. dedicated just for the hydrogen production... Like a HO alt. at around 200 amps. That would be a doozy!

Straight from Wikipedia...

"Hydrolocking occurs when any liquid is present in the engine's cylinder on the intake stroke and, due to the incompressibility of the liquid, makes the compression stroke impossible. This, in turn, prevents the entire engine from turning, and can cause significant engine damage if one attempts to forcibly turn over or start the engine. Typically, connecting rods will be bent, making the engine uneconomical to repair."

kinda on the same topic, i seen this video of a guy using water to run his escort. then they showed him using water to burn stuff. he was able to use the water to fuel his torch. it was kinda cool. if i can find it again i'll post it.
