So Farmer Brown has about 500 hens and no rooster and he wants some chicks.He goes down the road apiece to the next farmer and asks if he has a rooster he will sell him.Shore sez Farmer Green, I got this rooster named Ralph and I guarantee he will do the job for u.How much sez Brown.3000 dollars sez Green.Lot of money sez Brown but I'll take him.So he gets Ralph home,puts him on the ground and gives him a pep talk.OK Ralph,now I want u to pace yourself.I got 500 hens here need servicing and I want u to go easy on yourself.Take yout time and have fun,sez Brown.Well ole Ralphie spots the henhouse and is off like a shot.Slam bam,thank u mam,he nails all the hens in the henhouse,some 2 or 3 times.Then Brown hears all the ducks quacking and finds Ralph nailing the ducks as well.Next Ralph tears off to the pond where there is a flock of geese and starts nailing them as well.As the sun sets old Ralph is tearing thru the brush nailing quail and pheasants.Poor Farmer Brown is beside himself.That damn Ralph is going to kill himself nailing all these birds and he cost me 3000.Sure enough,next morning farmer Brown look out and sees Ralph laying in the front yard,on his back,feet pointed straight up,tongue hanging out ,a miserable sight.Buzzards are circling close over head.Sadly ,Brown goes out and sez Damn Ralph,I told u to pace yourself.Now look what has happened to u.About this time ole Ralph barely opens one eye,points to the buzzards and sez,shut up fool Ive about got them in range.Hee-haw.BJ
