forced to finish the stroker...

well as it says, some of you know, i cant find a local motor used decent for a decent price, and my trucks smoking everytime i stop and hit tha gas, so pretty sure my rings are shot..

so i'm back to building this motor for the e30 and i'll drive the e30 and maybe rip apart or wait for a good deal for a motor for the mazda, freakin car work does not stop, and its getting bigger and bigger lol.. and i was just about to use the govrnment check to get my full air ride kit now i need a motor for the b2000....

and again for those that havent read my page i bought paint to paint the block and it was labeled as silver and i had a grey cap and i didnt test it i sprayed the block that color so i said screw and continued since i bought so much of it..

3rd set or freakin rod bolts (104$ a pop) building this dam thing ( havent started it) and get me a car that doesnt smoke.. 1st i messed up, had to put the rod bearing groves faced the exhaust side of the block (as advised by metricmechanic.com), ripped them all out to check werent all right, so glad i did., then i swapped a rod end cap by accident found out when the motor wasnt turning by hand freely (removed them all again), then decided to get all the internals balanced, and i just got them back for my hopefully last dam build and get her running (dam do i miss her).

got the tranny on just now.. need my bro to move the dam car tailer out of the way so i can bring my bimmer to the garage..

Sounds like you've had a Blast with this motor the first few times!! Now get it back in the Beamer!

more progress.. as mush as i didnt want to stop, i got a decent amount done today, also cut down half a tree in my backyard lol.. thanks to Kev stopp'n by..

I used to have an es, TORQUE MONSTER!!!

redlines at 4750, unlike the is's 7500. But the es was raw on Tq. Powerbrake in 2nd, FTW!!

Missed mine...

my cars a 325i, but now mine is officially a 327i, engine now is a 2.7i best of both worlds, the torque of a 325e and the rev of a 325i "and better because my internals are fully balanced, if you didnt read that, or if i missed that above" .. i dropped the compression buy using 325e internals (crank/rods/ new pistons) with a 325i head (which i fully had rebuilt with all new bmw parts about 2k miles ago, when i broke a rocker, so it was, pressure tested, plained,cleaned, new double springs, new bmw (not febi) rockers, valve guides, 3 angle valve job and new valve seals) and got 8:5:1 instead of 8:8:1, so i'm ready for boost as soon as my wallet lets me can ya say megasquirt & holset

I love that car as is, but with boost it would be my favorite BMW ever.

my 2 babies aka "my twins" .. the e30 has some nice IE stage III race springs going in her after i'm done the motor accompanied also with some front upper race camber adj 3 degree plates, so she'll def. be lower, and handle sick (someday i'll upgrade the sway bars).. my truck makes my bimmer look so high now lol..
