Anybody out there running a fuel cell if so what size and how do u have the fuel Gauge working (how'd u mount the sender or what sender did u use...) I'm gonna need a gas tank here soon and I figured since I'm gonna bag my truck I might as well go for the cell.
Any help would be great thanks,

Fred

I will be (tenratively) running a summit poly 11 gallon cell with an inline walbro 255lph fuel pump.

May end up upgrading the fuel cell to aluminum but not sure yet...

Is there any way to mod the stock gauge to work with the aftermarket sender?

It's been asked a million times but so far no one has had a definitive answer.

16 gallon cell from Summit. Can't help with the sending unit or gauge yet as we haven't gotten that far yet

Yes get a GM sending unit and it will work with the factory gauge it just read backwards. So you will have to remember empty is full and full is empty. Might be able to change the E and F in the cluster with a little creativity too.

I think I could deal with that... Any specific senders? And any specific brands of fuel cell? Thanks,

Fred

Most fuel cells come with a GM sender standard at least the ones from summit.
