This has me puzzled ever since I've owned the car when its real cold out and I need to drive for more than 15-20 mins my feet turn into icicles. The heat in the truck works great otherwise but my feet are freezing can't figure this one out. Does anyone else notice this or know how I can fix it.

When you have the control in the "heat" mode, it directs the warm air downward. Bi-level is both down and through vents. Vent is directly at you. Maybe your cable to activate the flap has come off.

even in bi-level it doesnt help...I guess to get at that flap the dash would have to come out?

No. Check the cable operation first. Take a look up there while someone moves all the controls separately, while you watch. It may be a 5-minute fix, like mine was.
