Pinch weld

Thinking about getting rid of my pinch weld to lay hard on the rockers, old mazda I just folded the pinch over. Anyone else have a good way of doing this?

Mine is folded too but I plan on plating my rockers. I guess you could always weld the seam from inside the cab and then cut if off.

I've always heard to remove a few inches at a time and weld it up before removing the next section.
