About to start running my new wire and wondering if anyone knows if my stock ignition on the colum will work still with running a small block chevy in my mazda. Or any info on what I should be aware of when wiring a truck from scratch thank you in advance.

The stock ign should work fine, if you follow it down it unplugs and you can mate it to the Painless harness or make your own. Are you using the stock engine harness for the chevy with the computer or are you gonna carb it?

No computer, running a carb. Hoping this will be easy seeing I got rid of the heater for the bd and the wipers and such.
