ok i have talked about it before in the chat. i asked if removing springs would be the right way to go and was told it was totally unsafe and not right to do cause you people other people in danger and yourself. well i was looking around the net and found this. i want to get yays or nays for me to use these. if so can someone tell me where i can find front lowering kit at. the leafsprings will be sitting my truck 3inchs down from stock ride height. thanks!
It's actually a lot simpler than that. For the rear you just need some lowering blocks. The lowering blocks are more a less a spacer that go in between your axle and leaf spring pack raising the axle up towards the bed floor creating the drop. For the front most people turn their torsion bars to get the desired drop. The torsion bars are like a spring, the tighter they are the more tension is created which will raise your truck. When this tension is decreased the weight of the truck causes the truck to drop.
Hope this helps, I'm sure others can add more.
