ok I haven't been on here in a couple months due to money, new daily, and almost having to move.. but I'm back I ordered my new radiator support, and got it in the other day, now I need all new body mounts w/bushings.... I've looked everywhere on-line and cant find them.... is this a part I'm not going to be able to get, and I'm going to have to get universal mounts and fabricate something to make those work?? what have you guys done? any ideas... thanks in advance. -Ross-

You might have to go to the dealer for them or as you say make your own I know I went to my guy i get all my bdy parts from and he told me the body mounts are a dealer part.

aright, that's what I was figuring, and if the price isn't ridicules, buying them would be easier then buying universals and building the rest. thanks

ya if you are staying stock body or not customizing the frame ya going to the dealer might be the easiest way but get ready i bet the price is going to hurt abit.

its probably going to hurt a lot!, lol yeah I'm going to stay stock body, so I'll probably suck it up and let them bend me over lol

went to the dealer ship today and got some prices... i dont think he offered lube when he told me how much they were lol....

for the front mounts under the rad support... about $35 per side
for the cab mounts they were about $120 each...

for a total of about $550 for all new mounts....

i bought the front ones under the rad support, but I'm going to fab something up for the cab mounts

anyone know the exact height dimension of new cab mounts?? I'm going to fab my own up, but seeing as how mine are 22 years old I'm sure they have flattened out a little, and i want to build the new ones to well, "new" height to match up with the front rad support mounts that are new... i cant seem to find anything, and the dealership didn't have any paperwork on there sizes. thanks in advance

you can probably check some 4x4 shop they use a lot of different types of body mounts. I also seen some guys use boat trailer rollers or something similar to lift their bodies when going 4x4 and higher. they have different types and shapes so you can cut the inner metal shaft to the height to suit you.
