I'm looking to buy a 1986 B2000 from a guy down the street with me, it's in decent condition......but it's gotta have a new carb, I'm considering the weber Carb swap........

Which model carb would be best, and what am I looking at in emissions? my research has told me that this swap is required to eliminate the emissions stuff, but that's fine seeing we dont have it here.

Also, what cam would you suggest? include price please.

The webber set up is usually the 32/36. As for a cam you'll have to have yours reground. Colt Cams and Delta Cams are a couple of places that will do it if I remember correctly.

You're not going to get a lot of power out of these engines just so you know. You can get a little more but that's about it. So be careful how much you drop into it looking for speed. Start with the webber and get a pace setter header first. Then look into the cam if you want to.
