Well I have been gone for a while because I submerged myself into the world of rotaries. Well I was driving the old rx7 everyday and just let the poor old pick up sit. Well I decided that driving back and forth to college would be better fit for the B2200 so I broke it back out and dug in. Well first we decided to tackle the floor boards, because the previous owner put the AC drain hose inside the cab instead of out so all the water that dripped sat there and rust a nice big hole, which in turn made the seat unstable. So we bought some sheet metal and welded in a new chunk of floor and fixed the hump where the seat mounts to. While my dad was welding up the floor, I changed out the motor mounts which were 100% shot, and then I changed the spark plugs which took car of the miss fire I was having. After that I changed the oil and now the truck is running really smoothly. Today I went to the junkyard and got lucky enough to find a working tailgate handle so I bought and installed that. Next project to tackle will be exhaust, right now it is shooting from the header with nothing to quiet it down besides the collector which needs to be replaced. I was thinking of getting a pace setter header and then custom fabricating the exhaust from there back. Does anyone have any experience with the pacesetters? is it work the money? Then from there the top end of the engine will be getting rebuilt and I will probably put a webber carb to top it off. I do have pics from the first day of work, and will post them up in a little bit because I know how much you guys love pics.

Spark plugs, one had some nice oil build up on it.

Pic of what we found after pulling up the carpet. (had already cut out the place where the seat mounts)

One of the patch panels we had made.

Had to snap a couple shots of the truck, as you can see we ended up taking out the lowering block, mainly because they were demolished and now the truck is more practical for the way I use it.

Still have the phantom grill, but will probably be getting a mazda bumper instead of the beat up yota one.

One of the motor mounts I pulled out, bother were in 2 pieces.

Tacking in the patch pieces.

Another shot to give you an idea of what we did still don't have a pic of the finished product yet.

Haha well I can't really afford to go down, I end up having to drive through a field at least once every other day. Working on friends farms going riding etc. This truck is used pretty hard, but it just keeps going and that is exactly why I love it.
