needing help with shaved door solenoids

well guys it happened befor i could get a cable on it, my door solenoid dead, im not sure what size it is and theres only one door setup... so i need some now wouild to get two this time and get the other door done as well, want size of pull do i need to get, its got the stock latches....45lb or sould i go for the 60lb pull solenoids
i really need your help guys..... i got it rig'ed just so i can get in it and it is killing me

I got 40lbs on mine. I have never had a problem and they have been there for a year now.

you get what you pay for when it comes to electronics.... if you only pay $20 for poppers then you can bet your ass they are going to fail. if you pay $100+ for a kit your going to be better off and they will pay for all the $20 poppers you've bought in the past haha

well im pissed off....got the driver door fixed was going to have the pass door working as well and the damn solenoid fryednot to sure why but it was getting really hot and made a noise right befor it failed, now it gerts locked up and wont pull in...but just sometimes but when it locks up you have to pull the door apart f*** with it and then it works for maybe 1 pull and locks up again......i have to wait till tuesday befor i can call the saler and bitch up a storm


oh and dan what are you needing pics of, the doors or of the show i was at? i got the show on here already, slammin n jammin...sorry im a little slow ( and pissed) today

befor you go bitching up a storm. did you hook them up with a relay and/or fused link?

relay? no its wired up the way the sheet told me for the control box,( wire from door solenoid to the control box) i know its better to have relays but is it a must?...... and i have the right to bitch..lol...it craped out in less time then it took to put it in...really ...and its done, got to call them tomarrow about it, thank it had a short in it... it just kept getting hotter and hotter and i didnt have the button pushed

Relays are a must when using door solenoids. I always recommend at least 50 LBS ones on anything but these guys are right that a 35 LBS will do just fine on these little doors. The reason that I recommend 50 LBS ones are that I find that they last longer. If you don't set the 35 LBS ones up perfectly they could be working harder to open the door and burn out a little faster. Set up properly, using a good solenoid, you should get 10 + years out of a pair.
