Since i have completed my bd, I've started to run brake lines and wiring harness. And i must say what a rat nest of wires everywhere. It is a 2600i and I'm sure most people will say take the 2.6 out and use it as a boat anchor but my pocket says otherwise. Are the any tips I could recieve from anybody to try and make this actually look like somthing presentable. I dont wanna be ashamed to open my hood but as it sits, it makes my stomach turn every time i pass by it. Will it hurt anything electrical if i legthen wires so i can move them around a bit? I hate wiring only because I don't know enough about it. So if anyone could give me a tutoring session I'd greatly appreciate it.

You can lengthen the wires without any problems. Just do one wire at a time, and try and use the same color wire as factory. Makes it easier if you need to troubleshoot down the road.

Also make sure you solder and use heat shrink tubing.
