Alright. Starting to get my front end back together. I got disks for the front brakes, but they didn't have the dust shields that go between the rotor and spindle (looks like a pie plate). Mine are almost rusted right away so I won't use them. No one can tell me where to buy these things either.
Are they that vital? By looking at the ones I have, they wouldn't have given a very good seal anyway, and something as fine as brake dust would have gotten past it. If this truck is going to see VERY minimal driving, and only when it's nice and sunny out, does it really matter? Can I get away without it? If not, where can I get it?
