Paintin porkchop

So I'm getting ready to paint the truck
never done it before besides with rattlecan
we built a paint booth and have all the crap we need (at least the guy at wesco said we did)
so anybody got any tricks that I'm gonna wanna know before I tackle this project?
I know I'm gonna sand her down and finish body work first and then spray a coat of primer then wet sand it
and so on but anybody on here done it and fukked up and wish they could do something diffrent?
How many coats of primer?
How many coats of paint ( I have 3 quarts)
how many clear ( I have 2 quarts)
how long should I wait after I primer to paint?
How long after I paint should wet sand and paint again?
Blah blah u get the idea
any good web sites I can get ideas from?

no pro but i painted my 03 miata and i came out tits!!!!

primer. wet sand. crutial step mae sure its mint. wait a day after a body work is done

mix your paint spray the paint coats thin. dependig on color probably 3-4 coats (heat really helps, lie 100 degrees)

No need to wetsand the paint as long as you didnt getany runs or oter weird shit.

mix your clear. find the fine line between heavy coats and no runs. (good luck, this is hard) if you get a run keep going you can block it out with 1500 grit when its dry. 4-5 coats the more the deeper. P.S i dont think you have enough you should get a gallon to be safe.

let it dry, heat is the shit, if you havesome way to keep it hot while it drys.

wet sand and buff 1500 for tough spots 2000 for easy stuff,
