need help really fast (speedo cable)

ok so i need to remove my broken speedo cable like right now and dont know how to pull it out of the tranny or out of the back of the cluster i have the cluster pulled out now what? thanx in advance

on the cluster its a little metal keeper just pop it off and it pulls out, on the trans its on the back on the driver side almost facing downwards just unscrew it and pull it out
