4x4 transfer case operation question

I'm looking to buy 4x4 b2600. My question is about the transfer case: Can I shift from 2hi to 4hi while moving? obviously I'd lock the hubs first. What are your opinions about the remote freewheel hubs vs manual hubs?

Manual hubs, as long as they're locked in you can go from 2 to 4 while moving all day long. With the remote freewheel hubs, befor you start shift to 4wheel and and your freewheel thing will lock in. you should see the light on the switch come on , then as long as thats still on and locked in you can shift between the two while moving. Then press the switch and it unlocks it and the light gose out then you can't. Need to stop and start over then.

Cool thanks. I used to have a rodeo with the automatic hubs and it was a real pain in the ass because you had to stop the vehicle to shift into 4hi, I'd much rather be able to grab it when I need it and use 2hi most of the time.
