Well I installed the driver side seat on my daily B2000 reg. cab today and not happy with buckets!!! I bought some nice generic application buckets (posted a topic in the critque forum with link to picture) yesterday and started the install today. I took the 4 mounts off of my stock bench seat just to do my driver side (have to go get a junker seat to get 4 more mounts for the passenger side). I installed the sliders that I had bought with the seats and dropped them in after a little fab work. Well, after all the work they look great but Im gonna have to get some more room. Im thinking about running without the slider and push the seat back as far as I can against the back wall with little recline. Hoping to drop the seat like 2 inches and then back another 2 inches. Any suggestions, before I go pay to have my bench seat rebuilt?
Now I know why alot of people prefer the stock bench seat!!!

1st gens do but like i said they are a little high in the front specially id you like to recline cuz the further forward you move them the higher it goes lol.. you gotta move them forward in an reg cab to lean the seat back cuz there isnt room lol thats why i got an ex cab the second time around

no its low in the back lol but it gets high and the room between the steering wheel and your legs is like 1/2 inch lol unless you got tilt wheel im sure you have more than enough room then
