question for all those B2200 drivers with 5 speed stick shifts.
i was wondering what kind of life you've been getting out of your clutches and synchros?
I've got a '93 B2200 with 160,000km (~100000mi) and the transmission is progressivly becoming kinda notchy shifting gears (leading me to believe the synchors are wearing down). It does get a fair bit better after you've been driving awhile and everything gets up to temp, but i've owned it for the last 50,000km and it was better when i bought it. I do drive the truck like the 21yr old i am from time to time , but for the most part i'm just doing easy commuting to school, so i'm not sure if this tranny problem is happening earlier than others have experienced (FYI: these trucks sound AMAZING shifting from 5000rpm with a glasspack muffler)

^^^^ heres your problem...........

my old trans has 175k on it, the clutch went out, replaced it, resurfaced the flywheel, new throw out, new pilot new slave. after all that it started to act up and not want to shift between gears even at running temps.

thanks for the info. i do my best to baby the truck, i only ever take it to 5000 RPM on a rare occasion, maybe 2 times a week. I learned stick when i was 10, so it's not like i'm grinding gears or sidestepping the clutch or anything. I'll have to do my best to drag as much life out of it as i can, as it appears i may be nearing the point of total overhaul.
