getting a little impaciant

ok.. let me start off with im not trying to give this person a bad name.... im just getting a little impaciant waiting.... I orderd my parts from illusive back on the 26th of january, he recieved payment im guessing on the 1st of feb. (give or take a day) and he still hasnt even shipped the parts out (todays the18th of feb.).... He has responded to all my e-mails usually within an hour, and told me he was awaiting supplys, and I feel confident Ill recieve my parts, but I really thought I would have had them by now... its been three weeks!! anyway has anyone else had this problem when ordering from him??? does it usually take this long or am I over reacting???

Again.... im NOT trying to give him a bad name...I dont want anyone to think I am... I'm jsut really exciting to keep my project going and well Im at a stand still right now waiting and looking for your opinions

Well being on both ends of this problem ( I used to make Jeep cherokee skidplates) I feel for both of you guys. First off you ordered stuff and want it! He on the other hand is waiting for stuff to get to him to fabricate your parts. I understand your frustration but he is not hiding from you, is upfront with what is going on and being honest.........sometimes you just need to be patient

From his stand point he wants you to get your stuff as bad as you do! Imagine his frustration he has you on him daily and he has no option but keep apologizing. I got out of the business because I could not constantly get my product when I needed and the final order took my supplier 30 days to get me the raw materials.

If he was hiding Id be worried............In this case I believe patience is a virtue

I am actually waiting on DJM dream beams I bought online and the guy was supposed to ship and got stuck in the mess in Washington DC. It took 2 extra weeks to ship

Hello, as he said I have replied to each of his email as soon as I could get to them. Most of the parts are cut out and formed already but I had to order the DOM tube from out of state since I get a better price that way on small pieces, than any of my local distributors (not a commonly stocked part).

It ended up getting backed up in the east coast storms, just arrived the other day, and I have been working on getting a couple other orders finished up that were placed a couple days before yours. But they should be done and shipping out tomorrow so I'm going to try to have your stuff ready to go by monday. I think every parts company is pretty slammed this time of year dealing with taxes and everything. Hopefully I can hire some help before this time next year Thanks for your patience.

Well he sounds like a stand up guy! At least you didn't order thru FBI and get screwed!

like I said im confident that I'll recieve my parts, It never crossed my mind that I wouldn't. I guess this being my first time ordering on-line threw a forum vendor its just a little nerve racking... and you have been very on top of the e-mails (I even complimented you on someone elses thread), and again I wasn't in anyway trying to down you... Just asking others that may have orderd from you if it normally takes a while or if I was just thinking it should have been faster being as excited as I am to keep going with the truck.
