front bumper ideas....

im looking into redoing the front bumper of my truck i like the look it has now, but want something a little different iv had 8 of these trucks and never did anything to the front so im going to try,.... i dont like the toyota bumpers as they are to short and dont line up with the fenders, i like the new explorer bumper look but they dont line up with the grill lines, so i was thanking of useing an old 92 body explorer bumper they have the same shape and the same corners ,yes they are short but they line up better then the yota or new body explorer bumpers, if i use one im going to graft in the flares off the bumper ends of the mazda so it will fit the body better, now the explorer bumper is 7 inches tall and the mazda bumpers are around 5 to 5 1/2 if i did it right there will be only 1 inch under the explorer bumper when i cut it off at the doors..


what do you guys thank of this,im probably going to do it anyway but want to know what you thank of it

Not my cup of tea, but do it so we can all see. If you want one that fits perfect just call Grant's Kustomz and buy the bumper you want that fits to a T. I know then its bought not built, but it looks REALLY good.-Ed

and its not the whole buy it dont buy it....its just the toyota and new body explorer has been done to death, and just what it to fit and look right not one or the other....even the grants bumper needs the toyota bent corner fillers to look right

well it took me some time but here a pic i did of the explorer bumper...... not my truck, found pic on internet, id want to do it with a smoothy bumper too the best in the world but you get the idea

it looks different. i've never seen anybody do it. i personally wouldnt but i i'm not going to tell you not to. i think it could look really cool.

Do it!!! IN one of my many day dreams I thought of doing a full Navajo front swap but with a stock hood. SO again I say go for it so I can see pics of my day dreams

hahaha ya me too, like i said befor the other bumpers are just dont to much or dont fit right, i want something different/and beatmymini..... it would look better then that i did that on paint.. i dont have paint shop so idid the best i could, i would graft in the sides so it rolls better with the body,
i want something that looks normel but at the same time makes peaple say somethings different about it,
if i leave the mazda bumper on it when i door it there will not enf room for the under side of the plascits,but it will not lay bumper, if i put the explorer bumper on it it still will not lay bumper but will be alot closer
