rock and a hard place

so i have two trucks and a car now, my quad cab dodge, my 2600 and a 93 prelude. well i was lookin through craigslist and came across a 93 toyota pickup already bagged and and in good running condition. the only problem is that it needs a new bearing in the rear end. which is'nt a big deal. the guy wants $700 bucks for it. well its christmas and im a little strapped for cash. me and my wife came to an agreement that if i bought it i could'nt buy any more trucks for two years. not so bad cause ill have enough on my hands to keep me busy that long if i get it. the problem is i have to ask her parents for the rest of the money i need. i made a deal with them a few weeks back that i would fix my other car and give it to the youngest daughter. i have'nt fixed it yet but they told me if i needed the money for it i could have it. im kinda nervous about asking for the cash cause i have'nt fixed the car yet and i hate askin for money. what do yall think i should do. pass on the deal or suck it up and ask for the money?

after writing it out and reading it i started the thinking the same way you guys are. its a great deal but everything is just not lining up right. i appreciate your input, and now i think im just gonna put blinders on and stay focused on my mazda. thanks again

i say pass on it for now as well. it may still be there for ya after you fix that car, so you may still be able to get it later . everyone it seems is strapped for cash.

ya I'd have to agree, I did the whole asking the inlaws thing and boy did that bite me in the ass later,besides you got a mazda what more could you want....lol .....work on what you got first then when you got no more to do to them then maybe get more trucks
