What are the best Drag Blocks? I dont like the idea of putting a upside trailer ball hitch underneath my truck unless I have too. I mean thats a good idea but i want some blocks that throws more sparks then two cows humping on a firework stand.
So hit me up with the best drag blocks a person could buy.
these are the ones I will be getting, as soon as we get the front finished...
while we were riding with just the back bagged, we drug the piss out off the stock leaf spring perches...they threw some pretty good sparks, but didnt last long, now if i were to tryn drag them, i will start getting into my bed/rollpan
trailer balls aren't such a good idea. i've heard of them breakin off and going flying.
i've got a shirt that says drag blocks are training wheels for the weak!

Drag blocks may be for the weak, but at least this weak-ass won't be ruining the frame and truck that I spent what will be two years on. Plate the frame, drag blocks, anything to stop a dragged in half frame.
Are there any pics or videos with conclusive proof that a trailer ball can break and fly off? I've never been able to get proof or figure out how a 1" shank can just snap off, unless it is getting so hot that it is losing its solidity. I'm not condoning it, just want proof. I assume nost boners are attaching mounts that suck horribly and that is what is failing.
i wouldnt use trailor balls or the drag blocks. just get some like 1/4" flat strap and weld it on the bottom of your frame. its way safer than either of the other options and it saves the frame. drag it off put some more on. not to mention blocks are expensive and dont last long for the money. you can get 20' of strap for nearly nothing.

i've got a piece of 3/8" x 6" x 20" i was thinking about fixin' to the bottom of my crossmember for draggin... lol
thats exactly what i did. i used those L-shape brackets that come with the torsion kit on the bottom of my crossmember. worked wonders haha. needless to say theyve gone off to live in a better place in spark heaven haha.

oh yeah i've got like 4 of those lol i forgot about them. they'd make a hell of a drag plate
we plated my frame, and front crossmember. its awesome for when i want to cruise down the highway and throw good sparks when laying out. but when i wanna drop jaws i drop the rear with the titanium blocks, and let it loose! those are the only titanium blocks ive seen for sale. i have access to a machine shop so i made some.
thats what i was thinkin, jus plate some steel up front and then get the titaniums, for shows n shit and put them in the back...
I saw one other set for sale, they were a lot smaller and 60 bux. Those would be the best deal...
Would u be interested in makin a couple sets and sellin em to me???
