Here's a little bit of advice. Check your rear end oil from time to time.
I am on my first drive to amount to any distance since I have owned my Mazda. About hour and a half into the trip on the way to Heritage 2k9 and, almost there. At about 65 MPH, all of a sudden it sounds like a frickin' bomb went off under the back of my Mazda. After getting towed home, discovered that the rear end had been apart not too long ago. The silicone did not have a good seal around the bottom and lost all but about 1/4 pint of gear oil. Here is the aftermath.

Atleast it followed the old rule of go big or go home. and as for a better way of wording it, how about check your differencial oil? Sorry for your luck man.

Yep! That one is toast. Good point though, should check your rears every now and then just to make sure they are full

theres a plug on the pumpkin... you can open it and put your finger inside... if you can't feel any fluid then you need to add more!!!
