Heheheheheheheheheheehehehehehehehe I think I just joined the pre-86 club!!

I was at a client's house yesterday delivering their new kitchen cabinets. When I pulled up beside the house I spotted a little red B2000 sitting beside the shed.

I inquired about it and gave them my number if they would be interested in selling it. I just got off them phone with him now and he said $250 and I can take it away. And it runs and drives! It just has an electrical draw somewhere which keeps killing the battery.

Its red on tan interior, has 224k km on it and the body is straight as an arrow with no visible rust, other than the hood looking like its seen better days.

I'm going to be picking it up within the next week or 2, whenever I have all the cash to drag it back to my garage.

I am so stoked. I've been looking for a pre86 since like 2005.

The pre86 will become my project and Dirtbag will become my daily driver. No bag plans, just going to static drop it, clean it up and rock it old skool!

Noooo. No bags for either one. Ever. Dirtbag is probably going to stay mostly how it is now. I may raise it back up slightly. Either go down to 2" blocks or put all the leafs back in and raise the torsions a bit. I may need to drive it for the winter if I don't buy something else. Hell, I may even sell it. We'll see.

Are there any compatible parts between the pre86s and the 86-93s? Like engines, suspension and stuff?

Negative ghost rider, only thing your going to interchange from a 86-93 to a pre 84 is wheels. Other than that your SOL. If you have any questions give me a shout.

wheels is good enough for me. I'll probably throw Dirtbag's bronze wheels on it until I find a nice set of wheels for it, but it's going to be sitting in the garage all winter, so I'm not so concerned about wheels. Atleast over the winter I can get it lowered, cleaned up and running properly. Actually, I might have a set of Pathfinders I can throw on it, but they need rubber.

Can't wait to tear into this thing!

I'm picking it up on Friday or Saturday this week.

I had Kermit from February 2006 to March 2008, and I had the grey B4000 from June 2008 to July 2009.
