I just got a new job offer that I took, and they know I am already employed at another job. I told them I would like to put in my two weeks notice and they said that is fine.
But, I hate my present job with a passion. I don't want to put in my two weeks at all. But if i don't they will be screwed and have nobody to cover my position as manager. And I could possibly be screwed as well, because I may not be able to be rehired if something were to come up down the road.
I just don't know what to do? I was always taught the 2 week notice, and the people I work with are great I just hate the workplace.
What do you guys think?

I just got back from putting my two weeks in.
It worked out for the best, I was promised a job if I ever returned.
They were more than happy to see me go somewhere where the pay is better and that will better myself.

Professionally I would def go with a two week notice. Always good for the future. Now that said I used to work for KFC when I was in High school... I guess I still do I went to lunch well over 11 years ago and just havent gone back.
