My trucks slammed and will not go up/down and i want to bring it home any ideas on what i should do ? i was thinking i should find a place to jack it up n put blocks ontop of the axle to hold up the frame a bit higher any other tips/ideas?
Honda Cars have some low profile jacks you can use to get it off the ground, then for the front you can wedge a 6" chunk of 2x4 between the bag mount and the lower A arm. The rear is slightly harder. Are the bags shot? Do you have access to them through the bed? How about a short line with a schrader valve pushed into the bag connector, then air it up with a shop compressor/portable air tank. If the bags are good you could do it to all four. I have four of these short pieces of line in my tool box for emergencies. If the bags are done, you can put a 4x4 wood block in their place. A lot more work.
Ye i think the bags are shot and i have my entire bedfloor cut out so its easy to access them but yeah the valves wont work at all they are disconnected and i got no compressors , so iwas thinking of jackin up the rear somewhere o nthe frame or gas tank cuz im swappin in a fuel cell soon and ill put blocks under the frame/inbetween the axle but im unsure how to do the front
for the front you can put the jack under the lower control arm.... jack it up then put the front on jack stands... then take the bags out and put a 6" piece of 4x4 wood...
