Its cool that he is that good but i dont think its a good move ... yea yea he might make it to the majors next year but he could do it when he graduates HS also cause if a guy i went to school can he can. But i think he should finish HS first he will later regret it.

Does say he's getting his ged..... I thought they changed the rules so they can't draft out of high school? or is that just nba?

i have no idea all i know is the guy i went to school with "Jimmy Gobble" went straight to the royals after graduation. but getting ur ged is not the same as getting ur diploma cause u miss so much more if u take the easy way out like prom and all the friends and stuff u make along the way

shoot i didn't like to many people i went to school will and i still don't other then my wife but what im saying is that if he is that good then the chance for him to play in the majors will still b there when he finishes HS and gets some college because ur education is more important then playing baseball cause what if he got hurt playing majors and couldn't play again then he is screwed so in my opinion education is more important is all im saying

i see both sides. he can miss out on the things like friends, girls, prom, that crap. but then again what if he gets in trouble or injured doing stupid highschool shit like we used to do? bam no major league. if he goes into the majors now,(and there's a whole different category of girls to play with) makes 20 million and gets hurt... well he's 20 million richer than i am, and still has his life to go back to school if he wants.
i'm with you i talk to about 3 people i went to school with. wife's one of them.

Personally, I think he's too young (immature) to be able to handle what comes with the MLB. You knw the fame, money etc.... He may have good parents who can keep his head on straight and his feet on the ground, but then he may not. I think he needs to finish high school, be a kid for awhile.
