Alarm wiring?

I got a 'Ford Vehicle Security System' like an add on kit. I want to put it in my 91 b2200 but need to know how to set it up. It has a control module with wiring inputs for the following things

Starter
-Key
-Motor

Door Locks
-Lock motor
-Lock Switch
-Polarity
-Unlock Motor
-Unlock Switch

Accessory Harness Connector
-Ground
-Siren
-Trigger+ (Courtesy light)
-Trigger-
-Factory Disarm
-Switched +12v
-Disarm Button
-Illuminated Entry
-Trunk
-12v Constant
-Parking Lights
-Parking Light Polarity
-3x Status Valet
-Courtesy light polarity

It has the siren and a sensor. The remote has an arm and disarm button. If I put door lock actuators in my truck will this be able to lock and unlock it? I can't find my hanes manual so if you have any ideas about where to locate the unit and where to make the above connections please let me know. Any help appreciated.

Yea I had found that before but thought it was lacking most of the info I needed. I did manage to find the correct wires and hook up the alarm. The constant 12V supply from the ignition harness is actually a White w/ Red tracer. The alarm now works, when I shake the sensor it goes off, the status LED works and the siren works. Only problem is I cannot disarm the alarm. My remote is not working yet and I can't figure out the disarm button. The unit has a disarm button input so I hooked the one wire into the unit and it runs to a momentary push button switch, the other wire coming out of the switch had an end for screwing down to a screw like a ground. How do you get this switch to work? Where does the other wire from the switch go?

Thanks

thats more than likely the vallet switch. not directly used to dissarm, but i think most systems can be setup or are setup to dissarm after a series on button presses... could be wrong though... never really played with the vallet switch. usually it is used to set the alarm to arm like 1 min after doors closed, and stuff like that

Well there is a 'Status Valet' button, that is also a light that shows the alarms status. There is another button intended for the disarm and it has one wire to go into the control module and the other had a round loop end like to screw down for a ground. I can't figure out where the wire out of the switch with the loop is supposed to go. When I grounded it, it didn't do anything and when I tried that as well as the status button it still did nothing. My remote doesn't work so I am assuming the battery is dead, once that works I might be able to disable it that way but I definitely have to figure out how to set up a disarm system...

I don't have power door locks so I have just left that output on the control box empty. Is it possible there needs to be door locks for it to work properly?

Door locks shouldn't have to be wired up for it to work, get some batteries, then you can arm/disarm with the remote.

Valet buttons are used to program functions and put the system into valet mode. You can use the button to disarm a system by holding the button in and turning the ignition to on. The button is a pulse ground for the brain. That button is a momentary switch. Like the others said get new batteries, also the 12volt forum is a good resource!

Why did you get a factory ford system? You can pick up after market alarm systems for pretty cheap.

Free... lol I'll see what I can do in a couple days and let you all know how it works out.

Thanks
