spits and sputters until it warms up, then it's fine?

what the heck? my choke wire is correct, i think. goes from the choke to the back of the alternator right? dont know what else it can be... any ideas guys?

check all your hoses, intake/vacuum lines.....I know I got one bad somewhere...also just to be on safe side....clean your EGR out...prolly not the problem there but peace of mind in the long run....but I am half betting its a hose letting air in since I have the EXACT same problem

the guy that had the truck before me pulled all of the smog stuff and there are a few sensor looking unit things that have an attatchement for a vacuum line but done have a hose on them. i think i have to look into the vacuum diagram....

any other ideas guys? finally got this motor done with the rebuild and no more overheating but this spit and sputter is killing me! the bdddddddddddbdddduh when i'm driving is stupid
