clutch or slave cylinder

how do i know the difference between the clutch and slave cyl. going out????? it is kinda hard putting the truck in gear . so i thought iwas low in fluid but not. the clutch seems to not engage???? no pressure. it sticksto the floor..... thanks for the help guys....

slave should cost around 20 and master about 30

you should repalce them both at the same time no matter which one is shot..i've had a few problems with doing a master or a slave then having the new part cause the demise of the old part..it's just cheap insurance to make sure you don't get stuck on the side of the road!
