Diamond Cut LED PROBLEMS

So i posted earlier that i needed to find out what size bulbs fit into the small socket in the bottom of diamond cut headlights and found that they're 194s.
So i ordered some blue ones of ebay, and when they arrived i swapped them for the plain blue tinted incandescent ones i had in my headlights.
But now when i turn on the LED bulbs in the diamond cut headlights, which i teed into the corner lights, they don't come on at all. This seems odd because when i first bought the diamond cuts (used), they came with LEDs that didn't work either.
So why is it that only incandescent bulbs will work in my truck, shouldn't they draw less power? I'm gonna try cleaning the sockets and bending the prongs on the lights tomorrow when it's bright out, but i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem (I HATE ELECTRICAL GREMLINS, but AMC ones are sic)

pull them out of the light housing and flip the bulbs around led's are polarity sensitive and only work with hot and ground on correct side

Did the led's have resisters built in?
I bought some off a guy and didn't ask and hooked them up and fried them in a nano second, 12v into 1.5v doesn't go as it turns out.
Otherwise yeah check that they're in the right way around, but what's the chances that you'd fit them both in the wrong way around?
If that doesn't work hook up a tester to the wires and check that you've got power coming to them and check your earth's good too.

shouldn't unless they didn't have resistors built in then anything over 4 volts would toast them in either polarity

its probably the connectors...happened to me i had to bend them a little to get them to stay on the bulb tight...also wen i put them back in the hole sometimes they came out a little from the connectors...they work fine now on mine

If they don't have resistors built in you will need a 1000ohm resistor in line on the positive wire to the led's. Hope this helps. You can pick up 1000ohm resistors at your local radio shack.

When i wired them i reversed the polarity to the socket (the wires from the truck were different colours from the ones to the socket). So i pulled out the bulb and bent the wire from one side of the bulb to the other on both bulbs, popped them back in and they work great. i'll post pics if you all want.

sure I want to see, I just sprayed mine silver cause I didn't like the blue bulb showing up

Here's the truck with the lights on (the dark one was taken with the flask on, why it's darker i don't know). The headlights weren't on, and they usually are when i'm driving. When the lights come on, they do give off some light, and on coming cars will notice the blue, hopefully the police don't care.
