nice motor i like it but i just cant justify it...same money i could have 570 hp. with a 350

10k is a duramax diesel swap.
10k isnt going to make that motor anything close to 12 seconds in the 1/4. Ok. It's a DAMN clean engine, I'll give him that, its one of, if not THE cleanest mazda f2 engine I have ever seen. 1. Its not in the truck, and 2, its not running. But its not worth 10k. Would u buy a stock '86 b2000 for 25k? I dont think so.
I'd say that motor is a 2 to 3k, tops.
btw, if u wanted power, and did research, you'd get that tranny from the 2600s thats NOT the same as the b2000, 2200, and 2600i. Its the mitsubishi tranny, and get a 4g63 mitsu turbo engine, and BOLT it in. I had a gsx that was WELL capable of over 500 hp. And this can be done for WELL under 4k. BUT.....like u say, to eash his own. "THE BADDEST 2.2 ON THE PLANET" is NOT this motor, and its NOT a 10k engine.
I wish him the best, make sure under the hood matches the engine, and it'll be a CLEAN ride.

Head design is totally different. Thats what kills the truck engine. The head for them SUCK.....guy in houston has a 626gt with over 400 ponies on stock rotating assembly in the bottom end.

I'm just gone get a Kia motor and do a mild build with it. Wont cost much and it bolts right in place of the 2.2 thats in my truck now. If you don't know what I'm talking about do a search on Mazda FE3 motors

Excellent swap. Lil megasquirt here, kia fe3 there, and u got a good 200 ponies.

Here and I thought I had the baddes 2.2 on the planet Now granted, the internals are all stock parts and it probably only puts out 95hp at best, but it sure looks good LOL.

like i said man damn clean engine and i like it. i mean hell how many of you guys hatin on him can just jump in your truck and drive it across the country and not worry for one second if its going to get you there?
