Did u download something and it attacked ur comp? Windows has a patch for some of the virus. They just realsed a patch few weeks ago. did u d/l the patch? This is something u might want the pro's to fix since u probably cant find the main virus on ur comp. I had 3 virus attack my comp and my mcafee didnt catch it. I had to manuelly remove it and reboot my programs. Good luck man!

Well hopefully Sosa killed the bug. I am using Kaspersky anti virus. Seems to work well without dragging down the performance of the pc. Anybody else use this program? Not sure if it would help against "AntiVirus360" or not.

i have never used Kaspersky, but have heard nothing but good things about it. i would recomend either it or sophos anti-virus if you are looking to pay for one. if you are looking for something free though, AVG works decently enough. or you could always get an Apple Mac and not really need any of those

Most all Anti-Virus programs do not catch this type of thing. There are viruses and then there is BS. The BS is only caught by a BS catcher. hahah...
The BS is usually Trojan related. Yes macaffee, AVG, Norton, etc., etc., etc, will catch some of these... but only the ones that have been previously identified and named a virus. It takes some time to get this far... Also, most people do not have up to date Anti-Virus software anyway.
So.... There is a program called MalwareBytes. Get it... It is extremely useful. It also updates itself when it runs. I think this identfies changes to the registry by sources other than Windows, trusted programs, etc.
Also, AdAware... This will catch a lot of these.... "Your computer is infected, click here to fix" scenarios.
Then, I run AVG Free, only because it is free and easy... Its a pretty good anti-virus... But Anti-Virus software is only as good as how current it is.
