We have a 1984 Mazda B2000. 5 speed, sundowner. Mostly stock. A few things have been upgraded.
Currently, it has a nice Panasonic radio, using some raised speakers on the kick panels near the feet. I tried to use some 6x9 speakers behind the seats in boxes, but they were too big to fit.
Can anyone comment on what size speakers I can fit in the the front door panels? I'd like to get some more sound. The raised speakers at my feet suck.
I think I read somewhere, that 6x9's might even fit in the door. If not, I'd love to know what size round speakers I can get in there.
thanks!

You can put some 6.5's in the door, But I would recommend making a kick pod out of it to get a better sound.
Don't know if you knew, but the speakers behind the seat are 4", and there's 1 under the dash for 1 4" speaker as well.
