i just got a set of chrome ext cab door trim with the drip rail molding and the weather strip covers at the base of window, but i can't figure out how to get the drip rail trim to fit my regular cab B2200.
I don't have any problem with cutting it, but i looked at the back side of it and can't figure out how exactly it mounts to the drip rail. Is the drip rail on the Ext Cab different?
Also, do you need to remove the inner door panel to remove/install the chrome window trim?
Thanks.

It should just clip in place. You will have to remove the reg cab trim first of course.

The problem I had with mine is that all the rubber was falling apart. It is what holds the A pillar piece in place. I pulled all the rubber off of mine for a couple reasons, one it was rotted, and two it had white overspray all over it and my truck is now black. I used "automotive" adhesive and some strips of tape to hold it in place while the adhesive dried.

It should be shaped like a hook on the back of the drip trim, put on top part first then push the bottom in and it should clip into place.
You can take off and put on the window trim without removing the door panel but you will probably break off all the clips, when I removed mine I took the panel off and looked up inside the door to see what had to be done.
I was able to save all the clips except the ones beneath the mirrors so I gust glued the trim with silicon there and held it down with tape till it set.
without seeing the clips yourself it's a bit too hard to describe how to remove them, but I found that by removing the panel and glass I could push the clip in towards the glass (where it was)and a bit of light leverage was all that was needed to get them to come out.
Seriously it only took about 20 min per door to do from start to finish, well worth the effort too
