Okay I just have a quick question, how can i get the mad lift that i see some of the mazdas on here get? I have 2 inch drop spindles, but even when my truck is on the frame it seems that the bags are not fully compressed, which i am sure is causing me not to get the lift i want. I clear the fenders but only at max pressure, I am only running the z71 wheel with some low pros on it.Maybe move my plate down on the frame? As it is right now my a arm is topping out also. any help would be awesome!!All my valves are in the bed also, rearend is fast front is slow, but i understand that, need to move the valves for speed.
start with lowering the top plate
do you have your upper control arms pie cut?
no i do not, i guess that is something i need to do, or may some tubular ones?
Get rid of the drop spindles. You dont need those with z71's. I'd start with that before moving the bag plates.
ya i know about the drop spindles, but i want to get 18", maybe i should just take them off for now?

You can still lay on 18s without spindles..
Or you can leave the setup as it is and get bigger rims haha.. But you still wouldn't get more lift... You will either have to get rid of the spindles or move your bag mount to get more lift. What kind of bags are you runnin?? That will affect it too... I'm gettin 12" on mine.. But my bag is recessed into the frame and i'm runnin Dominators..
The bags are those one that come with that fbi kit, i think the re-6 slams. Well i guess the easier thing for now is just go back to the stock spindles, i bought those because i was thinking that i would not lay without them with bags, boy was i wrong!! I need to redo the front end anyways to clean it more and get a shock mounted also.
you def dont need those spindles to clear 18's, and def not with the z71s. and also, if you do get a bigger rim, it WILL let you get more lift.
I'm 1/2 inch off the x-member with 19's and no lowering spindles. It is possible. flipped the lower bj is all I really did
