Not looking for a heated arguement, but seen on another thread the whole air vs juice....
I personally have only been in air vehicles, but have seen 2 or 3 juiced cars in person, and it is just badass when u roll into a plot with a monster 3 wheel going on. I have done some stuff on air vehicles, and i assume it is just the same as juice- your system is only as good as you build it. The only think I hear about juice is that it always leaks and your bound to have a few fires if u use it. haha. Not a pissing match- just looking for more information, and opinions
the main prob i had with dros was blowin seals..gets messy
yeah, i bought a mazda that was juiced.. tons of mess, especially with leaks and such. however, it IS easier to find leaks in juice than it is on air.. lol. but i like air better.. just me.
i have juice on my mazda and i love it the only thing i hated was the seals in the cylinders leaking but i ran those cylinders for atleast 6 years and that was 5 years ago b4 i changed my whole setup. the newer ones out there are way better seals
you can still 3wheel on air too....
i love them both ,had juice for a while and was a pretty beasty set up for its time ,very reliable and just like d said mainly seals was only problems i really ever had ,very quick i got sick of charging alot but then bought street charger and ended up selling whole setup before i hooked it up cant really comment that much about air since i havent had much experience with air ride as others to give any input.
Hydros are a lot more adjustable. It's easy to get a stiffer or softer ride by changing springs, adding or removing shocks, and now accumulators rock! My bros toyota has hydros with no springs at all just accumulators and it rides awesome. Nice thing is that the ride is almost the same all the way up as it is all the way down. With bags its soft low and stiff high
Oh and competition cylinders have a third seal and leak much less often. Not like they are hard or expensive to change
Me and 2 of my friends that have a lot of experience with hydraulics are debuing a new hydraulic company in 2009. I will be sure to post up evrything once it is rolling. We are hoping to give hydros a better name with the whole oil leaking fire crap. I will keep everyone posted.
My preference is hydraulics.
ive had both and i like hydros better yes they are more upkeep than air but they are less exspensive. you are gonna have problems outta either. with air if you want it faster you have to buy bigger valves which normally run 60+ with hydros if you want it faster just add another battery.im running juice on my truck now and the problems ive had were just from bad grounds on the solenoids and old switches
