both traditional and stock floor. pebble pushers had a red ranger that was both. im going to try to drop it to the doors. like 3 or 3.5 traditional and the remaining stock floor. i already know the steering will bind up so thats somethingt o consider. im still not sure about the stock floor i guess time will tell.

Hmmm....Body drop virgin?
I would recommend one or the other. But i would say traditional if you have never done either.

How is your fab skills?
Have you ever bagged a truck before?
Can you weld? If so what are you using for a welder?

I had BOTH on my 94 Hardbody (on the doors with 18's and 20's)

You will run into multiple things, One thing is the steering binding or not lining up with the gear box.
Pulling a cab is not the lightest or eassiest thing in the world.

If you dont' have much time don't do either.
If you have a little time do the traditional
If you have alot of time do the stock floor
If you have ALOT of time do both!! lol

here is the key...
1. Measure
2. Pictures
3. Measure
4. Ask for help
5. Measure
6. More help
7. Measure
8. Cut
9. Weld it back together
10. Bitch alot that this sucks....
11. Drive it and have fun...

lol sorry but that is usually how it goes

your best bet is to just pay someone to do it...lol

because most trucks that start out with a builder or owner that never did it before ends up in the scrap yard.
If you know what you are doing your best bet is the stock floor and there are a few reasons to this.
1 your truck is old and frame rot is something that happens to these trucks
2 your probably gong to bitch you need headroom which a traditonal will not give you
3 you can have a smooth frame without welding any holes up
4 you will be able to fix any issues with placement of items or making areas for them and integrade it into the new frame and it will look like it belongs there.

Plus if you do a stock floor you cant tell the diffrence inside the truck

plus you can get thicker rails under the cab in case you decide you wanna drag which i do not advose doing...
