A coulple days ago i noticed i was losing pressure in my air tank so i said i would look at it tomorrow well as usual i put it off to long and when i come out from work this afternoon i had a line hanging down and no air so i had to get a guy i work with to take me to get some tools and when we arrived beck at the truck i realized i had no spare fittings to make the repair so now off to the local napa store and 6.90 later and 45 minutes later i got the truck up and going the lesson i learned is always carry spare fittings tools dont procrastinate and last but not least dont use cheap fittings from lowes always use dot fittings that was the only non dot fitting on my truck and now its gone hope we can all learn from my mistake
yeah, man, sucks when stuff like that happens. glad you learned, it's just too bad it had to happen as it did.
Yeah it sucked gotta be glad for the kindness of other mini truckers just one more sign of how we stick together
Yes...and may I add, think about the accessability of your air ride components. One of my fittings came apart and I had the valve in a place where you can't get to with the car all the way down. On my Caddy the front valves were mounted behind the wheel well. After standing on my head inside the engine compatment, I decided that behind the front bumper was a much easier spot to sevice the parts.
