I recently got a set of camaro bucket seats and istalled them. Then to find out the seats came out of a camaro that caught on fire. The seats aren't burned or discolored, now that I have them in the truck the smoke smell is very strong and fabreeze just ain't cuttin it. Anyone got some recomendations besides pulling them back out?

That smell most likely wont come out, Its actually stained into the fabric, Try going to an upholstry shop and see what they reccomend

i had found this on a forum before....

"the best thing is called fogger.. most detail supply shops carry it n have a few different scents... all you do is roll the windows up and turn your a/c on full blast... let the can release the spray by itelf and let the truck chill with the a/c on for about 10-15min with the windows up... open the doors and let it air out.. it works bomb, and even gets the mildew and smell out of the a/c and all the upholstery...

I agree with yota on this. I would at least call an upholstry shop and see what they say about it.

I called an upholstry shop but they left early today so I came here. And here soon one of these days when I figure out how I'll actually get some pics on here of my toy.
