Import a 4x4 LSD???

With all the talk about pulling LSD's out of rx7's and what not, you run into real hangups with 4x4. besides losing your 4.44 ratio, you have to find a diff to fit the front as well.
here's my idea:
Why not import the Diff's from an Aussie truck? They had LSD there as a common option and I'm sure there are good ratios. has anybody done this?

Cuz getting one from australia would probably be pretty expensive

have you tried Ford?
I have a courier which is the same as aB2k and it has a lsd from the factory, I don't know if the US ford is the same as the ours but it could be worth a try.
Even brand new from a dealer would probably cost less than getting one from here or Oz up to you.
