Well, I have a problem. My frame is doing that wonderful breaking problem at the rear cab mount due to the frame rusting threw. Does anyone have to pics of how you fixed yours. I know what to do but just would like to see pics.

Yeah that's what I'm gonna do but yeah that is a common problem with these trucks they basically rust out where the cab and bed meet

I'm already bagged and and 4 linked. I jacked it up and put it on jack stands when I let the jack down to let my truck sit on the stands. I saw the frame start to to gice and and a crack on the outside of the frame rail horizontally. Gotta love Ohio and road salt.

damn. I know the feeling,I'm not far,up in Ontario. I bought a B2600 for parts that I was going to fix up and drive until I found the frame was rotten and cracked in the same spot.

Well if you're bagged and 4 linked, now is the perfect time to go all out and back half it.

ACTUALLY...look at this. Mazdawg[mikey] actually Z'd the back of his frame instead of notching it

Damn if it wasn't for not being able to drive it for the past 2 years I'd do that. Right now I'm just trying right now for the quick fix and get the bitch out on the road to drag the piss out of it.

Well then I guess cut out the bad metal and weld a boxed patch section into it.
