I really want to swap a 3.909 LSD from an 85 (12A) rx7 into my b2000 but I've heard some folks say that although its a direct bolt in, there are some small fit issues, ie play in the drive shafts and what not. I don't want to do the swap if its going to make my vehicle less reliable/safe. This truck splits time with my jetta as a daily driver. and like most pickups, it fishtails like crazy on slippery surfaces hence the desire for LSD. any advice would be greatly appreciated, esp if you've done the swap.

The way I understand the the rx7 lsd only fits in the b2600i axles.

yeah.. i'm pretty sure they'll only fit the 2600i axles. would be a killer swap, though. if you try it anyway, let us know how it turns out.
