trip meter

anyone have problems with theirs sticking? mine will roll right to 199, and then quit. havent figured out if the odometer has stopped. but a few weeks ago, i was on a road trip, and it worked fine, stopped to fill, reset, ran it to 199, and then it stuck. hit reset, and worked fine, right to 199. then it did it again today. any ideas??

I used to find sometimes my odometer and trim meter would stick occasionally. Just gave the dash a whack and they'd free up and be fine. I had to be careful every time I reset my trip meter that the Zeros were lined up straight,otherwise the tenth of a mile one woulld turn,but it would click back over to 0 and not let the trip meter move up to 001 or 002 etc. it would stay like 000.1,000.2,000.3 up to 000.9 then go back to 000.0,000.1 and so on.

My trip odometer is stuck at .1 as well, haven't tried figuring it out, because I don't really car, and I don't wanna screw stuff up.

Yeah getting into the speedometer cluster is tricky business. One time when I had mine apart trying to fix my stuck trip metere,I somehow managed to flip the odometer ahead by like 40 000km.

ya, i just try now to keep an eye on it when it gets to that point.
