well im goin under the knife

like the title says im having surgury. it is this wensday morn. the 2nd.
i need to have it on my back. i have a fractured disk in my L-3 L-4 vertibre
the doc is goin in and taking the fractured part out. the procedure is 1hr. but i will be knocked out, have to be in the hospital at 5:30am and he said i will be home by Noon. same day. i will have to wear a back brace for 2 weeks. and i cant do anything for a minnimun of 5 weeks
ive been off work since march 21st. and i will be off work for a min of 6-8 weeks after the surgury.
i had the 3 steroid/cordizone shots in my back with no relief.

so will be on here alot. and not be able to work on my truck or do my powder coating that i have been doin on the side.

WHICH SUX ASS!! hahahha.

but i need to have this done.
ive had this pain for a while so i cant wait to be pain free again. i acctually forgot what it waz like to not have the annoying pain. lol.

ill keep ya posted on how it goes.

Man that sucks . Will they be removing the L3 and L4 and then Fusing the 2 and 5 together ??

no they are just grabbing the lil part of the disk thats poking out.

My dad just got out of the hospital on Tuesday after having a quadruple bypass.

so far so good. doctors say he's recovering quicker than expected,but he'll be off work for 3-6 months and right now he's on 6 week full disability where he's not allowed to drive,or lift anything or basically do anything that puts strain on the body.

At the same time,it's nice to have all the downtime in the middle of the summer,but the crappy part is,you can't really do anything during that time!
