it's been almost 3 months since I sold my Mazdas...I have my 2600 left, but it's just a pile of parts and junk.
I miss the fun I had just cruising around in them.Static dropped or stock, they're fun no matter what.
I can't wait til next spring because by then hopefully I'll be able to afford to buy another one and get back into it again and start all over.
It's been great still hanging around here and I've helped out and met so many people recently just from selling them parts and stuff.
I've made some pretty decent money back selling everything, and the majority of the money has all gone towards paying off debts and paying for my schooling and tools.
But I miss the great times I had last summer working on and cruising around with Kermit. Maybe next year!
The Catera has been great as a reliable daily driver, something Kermit was not. But the Caddy just doesn't have the character and fun factor a Mazda has when you're behind the wheel.
Well sell the Caddy and get another truck.
Can't. Need a reliable daily, and the Caddy is just that. I'm also stuck with payments on the Caddy for another year as well. I've already tried selling it and I can't get what I'm asking for it,so it's not worth selling.
yeah. But I like the Caddy. I find I really do need a truck though. I carry lots of junk and my work tools and stuff,so a car isn't totally practical for me. I chose a car for a daily because I do so much highway commuting.
Do you carry alot of people with you often or just you most of the time?
I'm sure you wouldn't get bitched at too much if you got a more reliable truck than a Mazda. As long as you get another truck
it will be cool when you get another truck
They think I should get a truck, but they also want me to get something newer. I almost bought an '08 Caliber in April, but they wouldn't co-sign for me.
If I get $4000 for the car,I can't buy anything newer or much better than what I already have. Trucks hold their value better.
I've been looking around at like 2000-2001 Frontier crew cabs. I've found some around $5000-7000,but they all have over 120 000mi on them and my car only has 100 000 mi.
But for 95% of the time,it's just me in the car. Sometimes when I go out with friends,I have like 3-5 people in the car comfortably. It's also been difficult when parting trucks and selling stuff, like trying to haul a set of wheels in the back set,or large items like hoods and grilles and bumpers and doors and stuff. Throw it all in the back of a truck and you got no problem.
Man,I shoulda kept my Hardbody!
frontiers kick ass but the v6 doesnt get great milage. I want a ext cab 4 cyl for my next truck. Good aftermarket support in the lift suspension area unlike the mazda. They can be had for around 5 gs.
time will come bro but finish school and get your self all payed off with your depts. You know that we will be here ready to get you down and driving with us scraping roads again.
