Well, tomorrow is the big day, I will finally be static dropping my B but I need someone to do a little write up on how to do it. I already got the lowering blocks, but if someone could kind of give me an idea on how long it will take and what is involved, that would be AWESOME! Anyways, I also need to know the best way to crank the torsions, and the little things like which way do I turn the bolt to go up, and which way to go down. Anyways, thanks in advance, because chances are I will just print this thing out, and get going on it tomorrow.

on your torsion bars, just set your ratchet for righty tighty lefty loosey. just crank 'em like your crankin out a bolt and it'll start droppin. just make sure to keep measuring to make sure your even.

on the blocks, just jack up the rear, put stands under the frame, take off the u-bolt nuts (under axle) and then lift the axle with your jack till the blocks fit under, drop it back down, then put the new ubolts and nuts on. drop her down and TA-DA! low.

Ok, that is what I thought but when I tried turning the bolt on the torsion bars once already it was extremely hard to turn suggestions?

....make sure the truck is jacked up in the front BEFORE you crank down on the torsions!

IF you did that, then get some PB lube.. Or dw-40 or something. Heck if you got an impact gun, go easy on it and you'll be fine.

yeah,on kermit, one bolt was super tight and i needed to use a big breaker bar on it,and the other one was really loose. I also never had the truck jacked up when I adjusted them.

SHould take you maybe 2 hours to get everything done.

You put alot of stress on those torsion bolts when you don't have it jacked up... Think about it... Its worth taking 5 minutes to jack it up and then crank on it even if I was wrong.

Better safe than sorry...
